Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are essential to our programs and services.  We welcome individuals (ages 16+) to volunteer at the events and activities listed below.  Volunteers are never alone with participants and long-term volunteers will be asked to successfully pass a background check to work with individuals in our programs.

Monthly Dances

We need volunteers to assist with set-up/decorating, registration, dancing  and interacting with attendees, and clean-up.  Monthly dances are held the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:00PM-7:30PM.  Click HERE to sign-up as a volunteer at an upcoming dance.

Employment Program Volunteers

We host employment training activities in our office every Friday at 12:00PM for a group of adults with developmental disabilities.  Activities include baking, candle making, various crafts, and administrative tasks,   We need volunteers to assist with directing activities and supporting participants.

Sponsor an Activity!

We are always looking for local businesses, civic groups, school groups and generous volunteers to sponsor activities (monthly dances, social group outings, job tours, and fundraisers).
