Staying Social During COVID.

COVID-19 has presented many challenges to our community during the past several months.  We have created opportunities for our young adults to connect virtually each week to maintain social engagement and connect in fun ways while remaining safe.

We offer weekly opportunities to participate in "Jeopardy" style games with categories suggested by our participants.  In our Jeopardy games, the points don't matter, but having fun and being friendly to one another does matter!  Jeopardy meets every Thursday from 2:00PM-3:00PM via ZOOM.  RSVP to join this social group!

We are excited to announce a new social opportunity through our Virtual Book Club via ZOOM.  Our Book Club will meet every Tuesday from 3:00PM-4:00PM.   Following book suggestions from other book clubs and input from local librarians, we will read a variety of stories together.   We also welcome Book Club participants to share opinions and suggestions about books.  The books we choose will be high interest, and easy readability so EVERYONE (no matter your reading skills) can full participate!  We hope to offer opportunities to connect socially, build friendships, and engage in life-long learning.  We hope you will join us!

Our Current Book is… Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets

RSVP to join our Book Club!

Beginning in 2021, we will offering a "Variety Show" on the 2nd and 4th Friday at 3:00PM.  This event is hosted by a young adult with Autism and is focused on laughter, joy and socializing with other young adults with developmental disabilities.  RSVP to get information about joining the Variety Show!
