Connecting People, Creating Opportunity

Advocacy in Motion seeks to transform lives and cultivate independence through education, advocacy and employment training for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

We envision an inclusive community in which every person has opportunities to obtain meaningful employment and sustainable income commensurate with their desired level of independence.

Introducing...BOOK CLUB!

We are excited to share news about a new activity we are offering to help connect socially while also staying safe during COVID.  Beginning next week, we will be offering a Virtual Book Club via ZOOM.  Our Book Club will meet every Tuesday from 3:00PM-4:00PM.   Following book suggestions from other book clubs and input from local librarians, we will read a variety of stories together.   We also welcome Book Club participants to share opinions and suggestions about books.  The books we choose will be high interest, and easy readability so EVERYONE (no matter your reading skills) can full participate!  We hope to offer opportunities to connect socially, build friendships, and engage in life-long learning.  We hope you will join us!  Our FIRST Book is… Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo.
